PARALEGAL

Janine first joined Affinitas Legal as an intern in May 2025 and officially stepped into the paralegal role in July. She is currently in her penultimate year of a Bachelor of Laws at Curtin University.

Prior to joining Affinitas Legal, Janine gained valuable industry experience working as a legal secretary at a commercial law firm, where she developed strong administrative and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment. She also has experience as a student intern at the John Curtin Legal Clinic, assisting with real-world client matters under supervision. Her time at the clinic has deepened her passion for helping people and sparked a strong interest in people-focused areas of law.

With a strong interest in family law, Janine brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her work, assisting with case preparation, legal research, and day-to-day support for both clients and the legal team. Her academic foundation and growing practical experience make her a valuable part of the firm’s commitment to compassionate and effective legal service.
